Production Line Lead / Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Hickory, KY

TempsPlus is hiring Production Supervisor/Line Lead for a manufacturing facility in Hickory, KY. We are seeking motivated leaders with manufacturing experience who can oversee production employees, maintain quality standards, and help drive daily production goals. Positions are available on 1st Shift and 2nd Shift .

Pay & Schedule
1st Shift: $20.50/hour

2nd Shift: $20.50/hour + $2.50/hour shift differential = $23.00/hour

The Production Supervisor / Line Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, supervising production employees, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication skills, team leadership experience, and the ability to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production line employees during assigned shifts
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer demands
• Monitor employee performance, productivity, and attendance
• Assign work tasks and ensure efficient workflow throughout the production process
• Train, coach, and support production team members
• Enforce company safety policies and manufacturing procedures
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and production specifications
• Inspect production processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Communicate production issues, staffing needs, and operational concerns to management
• Maintain accurate production records and reporting as required
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues and minimizing downtime
• Promote a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor, team lead, line lead, or manufacturing leadership experience preferred
• Manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience training and coaching employees preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and quality standards
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand, walk, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods
• Ability to work assigned shift and overtime as needed
