Utilize payor portals to establish patients’ benefits. Communicate benefits to fellow co-workers at the clinics. Test accuracy of patient benefit information. Complete daily action item requirements. Must comply with confidentiality requirements according to HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Access PT. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations, maintaining strict confidentiality. Handle patient payment information according to policy while maintaining security at all times. Bring any compliance concerns to the attention of your supervisor or the Compliance Committee. Qualifications Outstanding interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal skills, relationship-building skills, and ability to use persuasive communication to effectively work with patients in a cooperative manner in order to improve patient satisfaction. Must have the ability to analyze data for statistics, navigate through the EMR system, and work in a fast-paced environment.
