Discrete Temporary Part-Time Nanny needed in Newtown, PA | ASAP - February 2027

Position: Temporary Part-Time Nanny
Location: Newtown, PA
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; occasional Sunday day or night care, or Monday evening care
Hours: 9 am - 5 pm
Compensation: $40/hr
Benefits: Paid holidays if they fall on regular working days. 
Start Date: ASAP through the end of February 2027
Pets: One German Shepherd; primarily cared for by the mother

A family in Newtown, PA is seeking a warm, dependable, and highly discreet nanny to care for their nearly 3-year-old daughter and 7-month-old son. The ideal candidate has experience caring for infants and toddlers together, demonstrates sound judgment and integrity, and respects the family’s privacy. Candidates must be comfortable committing to the full temporary assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, engaging care for both children in the home; driving the children is not required or expected.
• Plan age-appropriate activities, including reading, coloring, creative play, and early learning to support the daughter’s preparation for preschool.
• Support the baby’s feeding and sleep routines, including bottles, starting solids, contact naps, and the family’s transition to a crib from a bassinet. 
• Follow the family’s instructions for managing the daughter’s food allergies and eczema, using family-provided foods and snacks. She has egg, dairy, and wheat allergies. 
• Handle children’s laundry, organize their belongings, and keep play and care areas tidy. Maintain evening and bedtime routines when occasional evening care is needed.
• Help with general mother's assistant responsibilities such as errands, organization, package management, etc. 

Qualifications: Previous infant and toddler nanny experience, current CPR certification, strong references, and excellent communication skills. Reliability, professionalism, confidentiality, and comfort working in a home with a large dog are essential.
